on june 21st, the 2018 (5th) china international aluminum processing and casting technology forum was held in suzhou. the meeting focused on the fusion and casting technology exchange, and added a special discussion on casting, rolling and extrusion technology. industry technical experts and scholars gathered together to deeply analyze high-quality aluminum processing, casting, and extrusion technology to solve defects in production; focus on the national environmental protection new policy, jointly discuss the difficulties in aluminum processing and production process and key technologies of process control to solve enterprise production confused. more than 200 people separately from shandong weiqiao aluminum group, nanshan aluminum, huabei aluminum, foshan jianmei aluminum, qinghai qiaotou aluminum, and other representatives from universities and colleges attended the conference.
the technical forum was initiated and sponsored by harbin dongsheng metal materials co., ltd. and hosted by shanghai yimao business development co., ltd. for the first time, the “aluminum casting technology expert committee” was established to provide technical solutions for aluminum smelting and casting enterprises.

professor cui jianzhong from northeastern university made a keynote speech on "electromagnetic continuous casting of aviation aluminum alloys".
